I just HAD to shoot with horses! Luckily the amazing Britney & Zach (possibly the sweetest husband and wife on earth) were eager to pose for me with their family horse, Faith. I love the romance the landscape & surroundings lend to the images. It’s enchanting!

It seems a little weird but the rustic colors and textures of a desert junkyard make for fabulous bridal photos! Thank you to my beautiful model, Candice… you rock! Look through the Slideshow directly below or browse through some of my favorites posted on this page
no comments Something that I look forward to as a photographer is the relationships I build with clients and how I can be there to document important moments in their lives. Tricia was the first woman to let me take her maternity photos and just recently I took some of her beautiful newborn baby girl, Gianna. Don’t they look beautiful?! Like mother, like daughter. no comments While shooting candid wedding shots is my ultimate passion, I absolutely LOVE taking people’s portraits. While in East Africa I spent most of my time shooting kids/people. Even here at home I like making an average portraits session a little more creative and beautiful… not just another awkward smile and crossed arms. Portraits are fun! Let me take yours??? + 1 comment

Hi Kristina, My family has been long time friends with the Casters and they told me about your photography so I had to check it out. I absolutley love your pictures and it definitely goes with my style of kandid photos. I’m not traditional when it comes to taking pictures and it looks like neither are you, which I love. Thank you! Monique Kearney The WPJAa is a very respectable international organization that represents some of the best wedding phoojouranlists in the world. “Photojournalist” being the keyword, the WPJA has very high standards for their members. Our portfolios must reflect the photojournalist philosphy. In other words, limited posed images and a strong emphasis on captured moments where the subject is unaware of the photographer. I’m so pleased and honored to be among the photographers! Check out their website if you get the chance! http://wpja.com
no comments I’m VERY excited… my image was selected to be in National Geograhic’s “Your Shot” section in the December issue for iPad… I took this shot while on my volunteer adventure in Kenya. I lived in a small town called Ooloshoibor with the amazing Maasai people. The boy in this photo is Pauli, my host-father’s nephew. He is such a sweet kid and loved to show me around. Looking back gives me such travel withdrawals I can hardly stand it!Preview Here’s a couple other images of the kids in Ooloshoibor who made my time there unforgettable…and a few kids from Uganda as well! + 1 comment
